The unwelcome houseguest accused of stabbing his Hell’s Kitchen host to death then taking off with his credit card, comes off as callous and unrepentant in interviews with cops. Justin Waller has pleaded not guilty to killing 41-year-old events planner John Lea, but according to recently released statements he told police “I just did it. I started sticking him with the knife. He didn't say anything to me, so I just covered him with the comforter and the pillows," explaining that "I didn't want to look at him. And I didn't want him looking at me."

Friends of Lea say the two men—who met two weeks before at that Mid City West gym—fought because Waller insisted on staying in the W. 46th Street home without chipping in for rent. After finding Lea dead in the apartment, police followed the trail of the deceased man’s credit card to Vermont—the accused murderer used the card to fund a limo trip there. According to the Post, cops questioned him in Manchester, where he admitted to his crime. Still, the “steroids-amped” 31-year-old told them he was wise to their tricks. "I know what you want because I watch Law and Order all the time ... it's not working," he said.
