The 9-year-old boy former UWS school aide Gregory Atkins is accused of sexually abusing stood up to Atkins' defense attorney during yesterday's testimony in court, telling him to "stop being a bully."

The boy, who is a special needs student, told jurors that on Feb. 2 of last year, Atkins, who is charged with sexual abuse, attempted criminal sex act, child pornography and endangering the welfare of a child, followed him to the bathroom multiple times, where the boy says he "told me to strip down naked." When defense attorney David Segal cross-examined him, he suggested Atkins had "treated [him] nicely," enraging the young witness. "“Shut up! And stop being a bully, now!" he yelled at Segal. "Stop it!"

Segal also told the boy, "Mr. Atkins said he never did anything to you," to which he responded, "Are you trying to get me angry, because if you are, I suggest you stop," and then kicked the witness chair. Atkins has accused the boy of fabricating the abuse; the boy says in addition to making him disrobe, Atkins "massaged" and touched his genitals, asked to perform oral sex on him and had the boy masturbate for him. " I’m telling the truth," he said in court. "I’m supposed to tell the truth the whole truth and only the truth."
