The only thing we know about tonight's NFL Draft is that Andrew Luck will be the first pick. Beyond that, things get really murky. Maybe the Jets will go for defense in Round 1, while the Giants focus on offense. We can probably assume the Jets won't take a QB, but you never know.

However, there are certainly some areas of need that stand out for both teams. For the Jets, a wide receiver, preferably one who is not disgruntled, would be a good pick. Reinforcing the offensive line is always a good move and a linebacker wouldn't be out of the question. Some of the names that have been associated with Gang Green and the first round are: Michael Floyd, a wide receiver from Notre Dame, Courtney Upshaw, a lineman/linebacker from Alabama and Riley Reiff, an offensive tackle from Iowa.

For the Giants, there are also some clear needs. With Brandon Jacobs gone, another running back seems to be a likely pick. New York lost two tight ends in the Super Bowl, so they will probably draft one at some point. And the offensive line could use some help. But, keep in mind, they have shown time and again that they will draft the best player on their board, regardless of position. Some names that have been associated with the Giants first round pick are: Peter Konz, a center out of Wisconsin, Coby Fleener, a tight end from Stanford and Doug Martin a running back from Boise State.

The draft will occur over three days. Round 1 is tonight at 8 p.m., rounds 2 and 3 will be Friday starting at 7pm and the final four rounds will be conducted on Saturday starting at 12pm. Fans can line up outside Radio City Music Hall the night before the day they wish to attend.
