Last year the "secret" lily-white pop-up event Diner En Blanc made the jump across the pond from Paris with a successful meal in New York. And now it is coming back for another round. Time to bust out the bleach!
An exact date for the event—in which hundreds of people dressed all in white descend on a single, previously undisclosed, location for a group dinner—hasn't been set yet, but the event is taking reservations for those who want to be added to the waiting list. But if you got an invite last year and didn't go because of the clouds, don't bother trying again. In short: You've been blacklisted from the white party.
Meanwhile, Dinner En Blanc has gone and expanded quite a bit in the last twelve months. After successfully coming to NYC, there will be Dinner En Blanc meals this year everywhere from San Francisco to San Diego, Chicago to Las Vegas. You can see a full list of cities participating this year here.
