A few months ago, we reported that corn had (almost) beat onion in an epic battle for state vegetable—all the zea mays needed was a final vote from Senate to make things official. Well, that vote has come, proving that our government, which is currently in the midst of an extended (some would say neverending) session, is taking the time to tackle the issues that matter most.
