Is your skin also confused about that big bright ball that seems to be turning it a violent shade of pink? Mine certainly is, but perhaps it's because my porcelain epidermis has been shielded from the sun for so long. Painful ultraviolent punishment aside, there is food to be had this week. Here's where to feast:

On Tuesday, Kin Shop in the West Village will host a prix-fixe crab dinner, with dishes including a steamed blue crab & spicy pork crepe, and crispy soft shell crab. The five course feast runs $75 per person, and you can reserve a spot through the restaurant.

Also on Tuesday, Chelsea trattoria Barchetta is celebrating its first anniversary with a special five-course tasting menu, with dishes including a pappardelle pasta with veal ragu, Scottish salmon in a nettle-almond pesto, and charred octopus with smoked peppers. The meal runs $45 per-person, with an additional wine pairing for $20, and it'll be offered through Sunday. You can make a reservation through the restaurant.

Head to Contrada in the East Village on Wednesday for special vegan Earth Day dinner. The four-course meal includes dishes like hand-cut tagliatelle with asparagus and sweet chili, toasted quinoa with spring vegetables, and an heirloom legume salad. The meal runs $50 per person, and you can make a reservation through the restaurant.

And on Thursday, Cooper's Craft & Kitchen in the East Village will donate its evening bar sales to the Mayor's Fund's East Village Building Collapse relief efforts. Donations will count between 7 and 10 p.m., and they'll have 24 local brews on tap during that period.
