Now that weather has morphed from a treacherous beast to something nearly pleasant, it's not quite so necessary to shove all the edible things down your gullet in order to experience even some semblance of joy. Still, to eat is to love, and to love is to live, and also your body must have nutrient in order to function. Here's where to do that this week:

On Monday, Strip House Next Door in Union Square will host a Ramey Wine Cellars Dinner, replete with offerings from the California-based winery's portfolio. The five-course meal includes dishes like crisp local black bass, a smoke dry-aged ribeye, and a Mangalitsa pork collar, and each dish is paired with a Ramey wine. The feast kicks off at 6:30 p.m. and runs $175 per person; make a reservation through the restaurant.

Head to EN Japanese Brasserie in the West Village on Wednesday for an oysters & sake dinner deal. For $45, you get six oysters and six ounces of sake; as a bonus, the restaurant will host female sake brewers, oyster farmers and oyster experts to highlight how women have helped shape the field. There will be seatings at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., and tickets are $45 each; call the restaurant to book them.

And on Thursday, Upper West Side eatery Burke & Wills and its upstairs Manhattan Cricket Club bar will launch its new late night menu, where guests will be able to score cocktails on tap paired with DJ music and specialty bar snacks. The late night menu will be offered on Thursdays through Saturdays from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m., and this week the bar will debut mixologist Gregory Seider's "Rittenhouse Ol Fashioned" cocktail to celebrate the new menu.
