So if you're looking for a place to leisurely watch the ceremony without too much commentary, this isn't it. The night will feature, trivia, movie spoofs, impersonations and prizes for best and worst dressed in the audience. They advertise that this year the prize for the Oscar ballot will include a Pillow Pet, and we just hope they splurged on the real thing. Tickets are $25 in advance, but discounts are available through Murray Hill.

425 Lafayette Street, (212) 967-7555

At the LES' Fontana's Bar, Oscar viewers will be treated to free popcorn and $4 shot specials while watching the event projected on the wall of their Chandelier Room. Shots include "The Stammer" and "The Lesbian Kiss," and at some point there will be a Ballad contest. The winner of that receives a free keg for a future party at the bar, so we suggest you start your vocal warmups now.

105 Eldridge Street, (212) 334-6740
Bobo: The Oscars aren't all gossip and trivia. For a sense of old Hollywood style, Bobo is offering a cocktail reception and a $50 four-course meal at their Oscar Party, which requires "glamorous" attire. The menu is inspired by some of their favorite Oscar nominated films, including a 127 hors d'ouvres, the King's salad, shrimp and True Grits, Winter's boneless chicken and a Black Swan chocolate cake. You can also vote for the winner in an Oscar pool.

181 West 10th Street, (212) 488-2626
