Nautically-themed boogie spot The Anchor has been replaced with a new, similarly maritime-joint by the same owners, who've rechristened the spot Lazy Point for an area on Long Island of the same name. They've toned down some of the clubbier aspects of the space, brightening it up with some funkier colors, circular booths and more under-the-sea decorations. They've also added a food menu of seafarer and landlubber grub, making it more of a casual bar than boots-and-pants watering hole. But never fear—there's still a DJ booth.

On the food menu are Oysters Rockefeller, Poached Shrimp Salad, Hamachi Crudo Nicoise and an Oyster Pot Pie, if the fishies are your thing. There's lots for cheese lovers, too, including a Grilled Cheese with white truffle honey, Caramelized Fennel and Leek Dip with Comte cheese and a Stracciatella Cheese dish with speck and vanilla oil.

Some veterans of the city's best haute cocktail dens lend some weight to the drink menu. Beachy drinks include the Lomax Paloma with tequila, lime, grapefruit and lavendar and the Oaxacan Daquiri made with Illegal Mezcal, lime, date syrup and Hellfire bitters.
