Eat As Much Cold Stone as You Want; It's for the Needy Orphans

Jennie Dundas and Alexis Miesen of Brooklyn's Blue Marble aren’t the only ones who think that areas of Africa might somehow benefit from some ice cream action: visit the Astor Place location of Cold Stone Creamery (between Broadway and Lafayette) today from 5-7 p.m. and make a purchase. It’ll benefit Orphans International Tanzania. Here’s the idea: the organization will receive 15% of the store’s profits during that time period if their gross is up to $500, and 20% of the profits if Stone Cold Creamery brings in anything over $500. So go get some ‘mix-ins’ and help someone else out in the process.
