The Yankees' ace CC Sabathia says that he lost 25 pounds easily: By cutting out Cap'n Crunch cereal from his diet. He told reporters today, "I stopped eating Cap'n Crunch every day I used to eat that stuff by the box." Now he's 290 pounds, down from 315 pounds—"I'm actually what it says on the back of my card."

As for pitching, Sabathia may be interested in becoming a free agent after this season (he has an opt-out clause in his $161 million, seven-year contract) but he did add, "I'm here to try to help this team win. I went through it with the free agency thing, so it's not going to distract me at all."

In other Yankees bullpen news, GM Brian Cashman said that Joba Chamberlain isn't a lock to make the roster and A.J. Burnett says he knows the Yankees need him to deliver this season.
