A healthy marriage came from the age of free love! The Daily News reports that the couple from that iconic Woodstock image, which was like The Kiss in Times Square for hippies, are still together.
The paper made them awkwardly recreate the pose in their high-thread-count puffy white comforter, and reports that as the Woodstock festival marks its 40th anniversary this year, Nick and Bobbi Ercoline, now both 60, are happy together and living in Orange County, NY. "They married two summers after the fabled weekend, and they still live less than an hour's drive from the original concert site of Bethel, N.Y."
Their photograph landed on the cover of the Woodstock album and movie poster, but they said they don't even remember it being taken. "We weren't striking a pose. We were as surprised as everybody to see that photo on the album cover." They do, however, remember "an orange haze from the glowing lights of the stage. It was everywhere, lighting up the sky." So, you know.
