Disability Studies is an emerging academic field that explores disability through a variety of lenses, including the social sciences, public policy, medicine, and the arts. The CUNY School of Professional Studies (CUNY SPS) offers Disability Studies programs on bachelor’s, master’s and graduate certificate levels, with courses held both online and in-person.

Its Disability Studies programs bring a “person-centered” approach to the study of disability; they promote a new way of thinking about the field to improve the lives of people with disabilities. The programs offer an opportunity for you to develop new skills, deepen your understanding of disability, and earn valuable credentials that can lead to career advancement and increased opportunity.

The competitive tuition rates at CUNY SPS make access to education even easier. In fact, Affordable Colleges Online recently ranked CUNY SPS number one among online colleges in New York that win on affordability.

CUNY SPS invites you to learn more about their Disability Studies programs by attending a simulcast information session on Tuesday, April 1st at 6pm EDT either in-person at 365 Fifth Ave, Room C201, in NYC, or online. Click here to register.

If you have any questions about these programs or the upcoming information session, please contact CUNY SPS at [email protected] or 212.652.CUNY. They look forward to telling you more about their programs.
