Think you're having a bad Monday? The protagonist (he's called "the Victim") of this film set in New York City in 1972 wakes to the sound of yapping dogs and crushes a fat roach after listening to a miserable update about the Vietnam War. And that's before he leaves his shoebox apartment.
Yes, anything that can go wrong does in this "black comedy" entitled One Of Those Days, designed to make you feel better about McDonald's being out of oatmeal this morning. The Victim stumbles from misfortune to misfortune (with some sweet 1972 puppy porn along the way). As Walter Cronkite says in his brief cameo: "And that's the way it is, Thursday, October 12, 1972."
This guy and 1993 Zach Galifianakis should hang out.
