[Update Below] Well, we can finally stop crying about those Jelly NYC Williamsburg Waterfront parties ending: Jelly's new Rock Beach endeavor will bring as many as 8,000 fans to Floyd Bennett Field in deep southern Brooklyn for 6 weeks this summer, beginning on July 9th. Oh, and you'll be able to camp out (at the Saturday shows) just like those dirty hippies at Camp Bisco, Bonnaroo, and all those other festivals that are enhanced by tent-living. Mark another "free awesome event" up on the Summer Outdoor Concerts list.

Once New York City's first municipal airport, the space is now a national park that will host The Strokes, Odd Future, Man Man, Hercules and the Love Affair, SSION, Swans, Dan Deacon, Fleet Foxes, Gayngs, Jeff the Brotherhood, Mobb Deep, Frank Ocean, and No Bunny. While we can give you the dates for the shows (July 9th, 24th, August 7th, 20th, September 3rd, 10th), we can't tell you who's playing when, because it's yet to be announced. But here's what you really need to know: The beautiful free beaches of Fort Tilden are just a leisurely stroll across the Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge.

Update: The Rock Beach's World Wide Website has now been taken down, as it was actually not meant for public consumption. We've also been contacted by Fleet Foxes' camp, who've stated they haven't committed to any shows at Floyd Bennet Field. Here's proof that Rock Beach does/did exist, though Jelly is now saying this isn't actually the lineup:
