Over on Reddit a poster writes: "I will be driving a time-machine converted Delorean around NYC for a day... that has been converted to a movie-quality prop time machine from the Back to the Future movies. I'm looking for interesting ideas... What should I do with it? Where should I go?" Or when? We would recommend checking out the city in the 1980s, where on the West Side Highway you'll have no trouble at all getting that thing back up to 88 MPH should you choose to come back to the future.
They note that the owners, not NYC-based, tour the country with the car, which has "all the conversions from the movie, some of it actual props used in the films." We're working on getting more information, but if you spot a tricked-out Delorean anytime in the near future, try to hitch a ride back to a New York City you've never seen before.
Come next year, you can buy your own all-electric Delorean for $95,000, but that price doesn't include a flux capacitor or time travel coils.
