Short Cuts will be a regular feature here, delivering some recent bits of news from the big screen.

- Can you believe Zoolander came out ten years ago? In a recent interview Ben Stiller says the script for the sequel is written, and will follow Derek and Hansel as they (now a decade older) struggle to remain male models. He added, "and then there are things set up at the end of the first movie that we're able to build on, like Derek and Matilda have a son, and Mugatu went to jail. There's a lot there, I'm excited about the idea of doing it. It feels like it's getting close to going." But what about The Derek Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good and Wanna Learn to Do Other Stuff Good Too?
- The Hangover 2's release date nearly got delayed after a lawsuit, but everything is back on track for it to hit the big screens tomorrow... but is that a good thing? The sequel is getting terrible reviews. Like really bad. (Good thing that Mel Gibson cameo was dropped.) To give you an idea, the LA Times called it "a headache-inducing, unapologetic money grab."
- There's a new trailer out for The Smurfs 3-D! Watch it below, where you'll see Gargamel getting hit by a bus, and the little blue creatures blending in with The Blue Man Group. The movie is due out on July 29th.
