While some Lego artists have independently recreated Ghostbusters HQ with the bricks, now the company has unveiled their official kit, which will be on sale in June. They showed off their Ghostbusters kit ($49.99), along with other new releases, at the New York Toy Fair over the weekend.

The Ghostbusters kit was designed by fan Brent Waller, who said: "As a child I would recreate Ghostbusters out of Lego. I had a very primitive Ecto-1, Ecto-1A and the Firehouse as well as all of the main characters with 'Classic Space' air-tanks for Proton Packs. As an adult rediscovering my love of Lego, recreating it now was a way of recapturing that unbridled creativity of my youth."

The Fair runs through the 19th, and the Lego folk also have The Simpsons, Star Wars' Mos Eisley Cantina, and (Michael Bay's version of) the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on view at their stand. Click through for a preview.
