More details are emerging about internationally renowned street artist guy who scribbles "Moustache" on subway advertisements, 26-year-old Joseph Patrick Waldo, after he was arrested last night on charges of felony criminal mischief. He's from Virginia! He doesn't have a moustache! His aunt thinks "he's a great kid!" And in the complaint against him Waldo even apologizes, saying, "I'm sorry for my actions and have agreed to fully cooperate and never do it again." So much for drawing moustaches "for f*cking ever!"

The NYPD claims that Waldo caused more than $1,500 in damage to MTA property, and was nabbed for tagging an ad at the 3rd Avenue L station on June 18. Waldo, who the Daily News describes as "sporting black Ray-Ban sunglasses, tattoos and a five o'clock shadow" (someone's been watching a little too muchOz) was picked up outside his employer, Gray Line tours, and declined to comment to the newspaper. His supervisor noted that "He's kind of quiet, very easygoing, very cool," which sounds a lot like some serial killers to us.
