Beloved Mars Truther Louis C.K. has gone full-Billy Joel: after two hilarious sold-out shows (see our review here) at MSG, and a third coming up this week, C.K. has announced a fourth show for the final week in January. "I mean, if you keep buying the tickets, I have to keep doing the shows," he wrote in the email announcement.
Here's the full email about the show, happening on Wednesday January 27th:
I mean, if you keep buying the tickets, I have to keep doing the shows. My third show at Madison square garden on Saturday is nearly sold out. That happened even faster than the show before it. And both of the shows that I've done there have been intensely fun. So I'm going to add another show.

Tickets are on sale now for $25, $45 and $65, as with the other three shows. C.K. is the first comedian to sell out MSG three times in a month for the same tour, and he'll likely do it a fourth time. We don't know if this automatically makes him the biggest comedian in the world, but we feel comfortable declaring that anyway.
In theory, this is the final show of C.K.'s semi-residency...but we've been burned on this before. If the fourth show sells out, will we get a fifth? And if that sells out, will C.K. just take up residency in the basement of MSG, along with the ghost of Andrea Bargnani? Either way, we're winners: C.K. is supposed to start filming season five of Louie once he finishes with the shows!
