You've read the book. You've seen the Swedish movie. Now, it's David Fincher's turn to offer up The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. A red band trailer has turned up on YouTube and it features Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander, Daniel Craig as Mikael Blomkvist, the tagline "The Feel-Bad Movie Of Christmas" and Karen O's cover of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song."
The movie, which is supposed to open on December 21 and was adapted by Steven Zaillian, also stars Stellan Skarsgaard as Martin Vanger, Christopher Plummer as Henrik Vanger, Robin Wright as Erika Berger, and Embeth Davidtz as Annika Blomkvist and Goran Visnjic as Dragan Armansky. In the meantime, you can always watch the Swedish versions of Stieg Larsson's incredibly popular trilogy on Netflix Instant and Amazon and await the parody book, The Girl With the Sturgeon Tattoo by Lars Arffssen.
