The Christmas tree vendors in New York City are pretty fascinating—so much so that we did an entire series on them years ago. Now they're headed to the big screen, where two French Canadian Christmas tree salesmen who travel to New York to sell trees, will be portrayed by Paul Rudd and Paul Giamatti.
Lucky Dog (or The Untitled Christmas Tree Project—it's listed as U.C.T.P. on the signs) is currently filming around Greenpoint. We spotted this Christmas tree lot in the triangle between Berry, Banker and North 15th Street last night. They'll be back filming today, "around Driggs Avenue and Eckford Street"—stop by if you want a second chance at having a winter.
