Let's just give Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz the Daily Show chair when Jon Stewart leaves. The Beastie Boy dropped by last night for a ten minute interview, which was oddly, given Stewart's past with MTV, the first time the two had met. Allegedly.
The interview is all over the place, not at all touching on Horovitz's role in While We're Young, but rather anchored by Stewart's love of Ad-Rock, who he tells, "You are one of my favorite performers of all time, and I never get the chance to hang out with you. We're having a tender moment, but the interview ended 10 minutes ago. So this is all me keeping you here longer, because I don't know that I'll ever get this chance again."
Definitely the best Ad-Rock interview since he schooled our own John Del Signore about watch parties.
