This week, we dipped out toes into the waters of extreme Giants fandom. As it turned out, the guy who shaved the Giants logo into his head seemed pretty tame compared to the mysterious "Travis from Queens" who tattooed Eli Manning giving Peyton Manning a noogie on his butt. We've tracked down Travis to ask him all about his giant Giants tattoo, and how he ended up inscribing the Manning brothers on his derriere: "It's about time Easy E gave his big bro some noogies and I wanted my tush to be the forum for this occasion."

Travis is a lifelong Giants fan who understatedly calls himself "a touch more passionate than the average guy." He tells us he's "a rather big time giants fan/season ticket holder and therefore I think Eli Manning is the best qb in the history of the league. My buddy (tipster Derek B) send me this drawing just hours before the Green Bay game and I could not stop laughing." He got the work done at tattoo parlor Fat Kat in Keyport, NJ. The tattooist Sam thought the tat was "awesome and original, however he would not stop commenting on how displeased he was with the fact that he was working on another man's behind."

Travis, who has four other tattoos including three on his buttocks, said this one hurt by far and away more than the rest: "This one took a couple hours and was quite painful. Clearly it's well worth it though. I mean you think all those hits didn't hurt Eli in San Fran? But dude kept getting back up and plugging away."

As for next Sunday's Super Bowl game against the New England Patriots—a rematch of Super Bowl XLII, when David Tyree's dramatic helmet catch helped propel the Giants to an unlikely upset over the then undefeated Pats—Travis is hedging his bets:

I'll be watching the game at my buddy's house in the same seat that I have watched the last two playoff road games. Just like we did it four years ago. I don't really like doing predictions with my own team, but I didn't think we'd win four year ago, so I don't mind that. I'm not yet 100% comfortable playing these bitches again.

We also asked Travis whether he had any plans for another tattoo were the Giants triumph: "If the Giants win this one though I will be legally changing my middle name to Eli. So hopefully you'll be referring to me as Travis Eli in the coming week(s)."
