Former federal prosecutor and former mayor of New York City (and forever mayor of 9/11), Rudy Giuliani will take on a new role next month: he'll be hosting AMC's Mob Week, which runs August 1st through the 7th. Interesting move for someone who may be running for President of the United States... but he is a longtime Godfather fan, according to Politico (the man himself referenced the movie when referring to meeting his third and current wife Judi, "It was the thunderbolt").
The man who "patented the perp walk" has "family ties" that go deeper than his Netflix queue, too—he's allegedly related to some of the Mob Wives' cast and former Village Voice reporter Wayne Barrett wrote a book about Giuliani's father's criminal ties.
Of course, Giuliani has always been a family guy—even when he was raiding bars during his mayorship, it's long believed that he never touched Kokie's—Williamsburg's notorious members-only cocaine den—because it was owned by his friend's brother (it was raided and shut down when Bloomberg came into office).
