There's been no lack of mocking headlines and critical jest at Spider-Man: Die Hard With A Vengeance Turn Off The Dark, by far the most expensive tone-deaf musical ever. But no headline has truly made it until it is ripped out, reassembled, and immortalized into a Law & Order plotline. And it seems that Julie Taymor's great folly will be getting its moment in the sun very soon, when Law & Order: Criminal Intent takes on the musical in an upcoming episode.

The episode will focus on a high-flying Broadway show called Icarus; detectives begin investigating when a botched stunt leads to one of the actor's deaths. The real life show has caused many injuries in its premature run already. Among the suspects is a caricature of Taymor, the "high-strung and larger than life" director, who is also a born-again drunk. Even better, there is the secretly bisexual rock-star composer named "Arno"...no relation to Bono, of course.

Season 10 of Criminal Intent, which may be its last, premieres Sunday, May 1st. In addition to the Spider-Man inspired episode, the procedural has also signed Jay Mohr to guest as a Charlie Sheen-like actor with a reputation for cocaine benders and call girl-populated parties. We hope the climactic interrogation scene finds Detective Robert Goren stealing the show at a traveling Warlock conference.
