You guys know what would be sick? Imagine chillin' in Central Park with thousands upon thousands of strangers when all of a sudden everything goes into slow motion and Green Day comes out on stage and rocks you with this sappy little nostalgia number:
RIGHT? Did you just get goosebumps, too? If only there were a petition we could all sign to make that moment happen in real life! Oh wait, there is. Someone (Tré Cool?) has started an online campaign to get Green Day on the Great Lawn this summer—and it goes beyond the petition, they've also started a Twitter account, and are currently asking people like John Stamos to help out in the cause (he's been working on his own Beach Boys on the Great Lawn campaign since "Kokomo" though).
For real though, a '94-style mud fight in Central Park might be amazing.
