Hallelujah, God-fearing reality TV addicts! There is now an evangelical version of the Real Housewives that uses stories from the Bible to teach women how to fix their corrupt, sin-loving ways. But alas, Bravo is not heralding its arrival.
The show, The Real Housewives Of The Bible, is the brainchild of Ty Adams, a "sex and relationship guru"/ Christian evangelist, who said she created the scripted series because reality TV "doesn't provide any solutions on how to get over obstacles in relationships" (wait, it doesn't?). Anyhow, Bravo is pissed about the show for ripping off their popular franchise, saying "Bravo is in no way associated with this project...We vigorously protect our trademarks and take appropriate action when necessary."
Here's a look at the show, which is scheduled to arrive in straight-to-DVD form later this summer. Interested parties may also want to purchase some of Evans's life guides, like "Temptation Survival Techniques" and "Turn The Lights Back On," which we're guessing is not a reference to a certain position.
