In July of 2008 Bon Jovi brought a little Jersey to Central Park, drawing nearly 50,000 people to the Great Lawn for a free concert. Well now Mayor Bloomberg may be booking the rocker again, this time for a historic concert on the eve of the 10th anniversary of 9/11. According to The Daily, he's in "secret negotiations with HBO to produce" the concert; the network would allegedly pay for the pricey event, including providing security and clean-up, and in turn they would get the exclusive to broadcast the show. Currently they're denying it all, however.

If these rumors are true, we applaud Bloomberg for not booking the Black Eyed Peas.
