Less than a week after the premiere of her new, excellent, and highly thinkpieceable visual album Lemonade, Beyoncé kicked off the Formation World Tour in Miami last night. The 37-song set featured the live debut of much of her new album (including "Hold Up," "Sorry," "Don't Hurt Yourself," "Freedom" and "All Night"), a set-closing performance of "Halo" dedicated to Jay Z (“I want to dedicate this song to my beautiful husband. I love you so much"), and a tribute to Prince in the form of a "Purple Rain" singalong.

She also covered "Nasty Girl" by Vanity 6, which was written by Prince.

She also danced to Wine-O's "Pop My Trunk" at one point, which some people mistakenly heard as "Fuck Donald Trump."

Despite the Miami Fraternal Order of Police previously threatening to boycott the show, the concert was fully staffed with cops—and she had the last laugh over the controversy, selling "Boycott Beyonce" t-shirts as part of her official tour merch.
