No blizzard, no worries: NYC children still had a snow day from school and their parents... well, their parents either couldn't get into work or they had to stay home to watch the kids. So many hit the parks to go sledding!

The Daily News columnist Juan Gonzalez found some people pretty happy with the city and state's overreaction to the snow while seeing sledders in St. Mary’s Park in the Bronx: "A few feet away was Chuck Casada, diesel mechanic for an oil delivery company. 'When my boss told me last night I had the day off, I told my daughter, "We’re going sledding,"' Casada said."
