The weather was certainly less-than-perfect, but a little snow, rain and bitter cold couldn't stop over a million people from taking to Fifth Avenue on Saturday to watch the 252nd St. Patrick's Day Parade. There were bag pipes, Bloomberg, kilts, green make-up and spandex, and even an NYPD proposal. And afterwards, there were plenty of people who kept the party going at various bars around Manhattan. Since you probably took our advice and did your best to avoid those crowds, take a look at the photos above from the East Village to see what you missed out on.
